There’s finally an easy way to make your own protein bars! Yes, they’ll come out perfect every time, and yes, they’ll be the most delicious bars you’ve ever eaten. If you have a few minutes and a kitchen, you’re all set!
Recipe (makes 8 bars)
¼ cup Peanut Butter (substitute for any nut butter, or use date paste for nut free)
1 TBS Almond Milk (any liquid including water will work)
2 TBS Honey (agave or maple syrup subs perfectly)
¼ cup Apple Sauce (Or double the portions of milk and honey)
1 Bag of Protein Bar Mix
- Whisk together first four ingredients until it becomes one smooth mixture.
- Pour in bag of Protein Bar Mix and mix with a fork or clean hands until dough like consistency.
- Grease or line a 6x8 inch pan/tupperware. Add mixture and flatten evenly OR form into balls or bite size snacks.
- Cover pan and freeze for one hour. Once set, cut into 8 even bars or any desired shape and size. Store in fridge.
